Olympic Merit Cross 2nd class for review

I was under the impression, perhaps incorrectly, that there was only one manufacturer to this cross. Here is another being offered by e-medals which has an entirely different pattern to the feathers of the eagle and different looking claws. Not to say this one is not real (especially since the one I own appears to be the same pattern), nor to say the one on e-medals is not real, but they certainly don't match. Were there more manufacturers than one and were the eagles feather patterns different on originals?

I think this thread might be great to start a discussion on this medal, the manufacturers and potential different styles.
