Danish 1934 Hitler support large ashtray

Made by the famous Danish pottery/keramic
firm. Hermann A Kahler.

I believe it's very rare or unique.
Never seen any other Hitler supporter items
from Kahler. They are not known to support the Germans.
But it's early third reich and probably
a customer special order for someone. Dont think
Hitler had many enemy's in Denmark ad that time Jan 1934.

Since it has the "Kahler" logo, the only remaining question is - did the Kahler factory actually make this piece? Though I'm not a vintage pottery expert, my gut feeling is that it doesn't match the quality or style that you'd expect from Kahler pottery. Kahler items are not particularly expensive for art glass, but they ARE high quality. The ashtray lettering is amateurish, and reminds me of the letters you find in alphabet soup. Google Herman Kahler, and you'll see what I mean. Could be real, but no warm, fuzzy feelings here. I'm going with it being someone's backyard kiln concoction.

I have owned many Kahler items myself.
And it looks right to me, and it have the age for sure.

It is probably possible to research the artist, so expect
soon to have some more info

I thought about this last night, and I may have been too harsh. To me, it STILL doesn't look like something they'd make, but after considering, I'm leaning more that it is probably authentic. Compared to the rest of their work, it just didn't look stylish enough. Add the concern that haunts everyone with 3rd Reich jewelry - anyone can make a silver ring, and anyone can make a ceramic bowl - especially when there's no known original examples to compare to. Lots of "trickery" these days, so I was just being cautious. Best regards!!

Yes I understand, and its always important to
be on guard.

I have seen probably a 1000s Kahler items hands on.
I am offen on flea market and antique stores.

The other WWII-era examples you showed are terrific. I really like the one in the upper right - looks like a man made out of blocks.
