        Large flags have always been around (and hard to sell), but it takes more than the red cotton fabric to make a reproduction.

            Is the assumption being made here that someone would add a roundel with swas to create a fake flag?

              I have some original white circles with swastikas, in one of my junk boxes. The vet's wife took the red material and made pajamas, for the children, after the war.

                  Big flags get made into small flags just like greatcoats get made into caps and other small items, there is no shortage of original material and this has always been the case. Original flag roundels and sheets of unused armband roundels are not terribly hard to find.
