It is a total fake, fantasy design. The workmanship is HORRIBLE! Compare this one to a period original tab. Even a blind man should be able to tell the difference.

If you do not want an honest response, don't post an item. I have been at this since 1956 and have never seen a political leader tab with this design in hand, in any period reference such as the Handbuch d NSDAP or a photograph.. It can not be earlier as the total design of tabs was far simpler. The quality of the embroidery is no where near the level of that found in period insignia. The last I have to say on the subject. Total fantasy.

According to John R. Angolia it is a unknown rank tab, possibly prototype for Reichsleiter. The tab here is credited to Ulric of England.

Likely an extremely rare tab.
