    HJ "Tommler" shoes in box

    Hello everyone,

I want to share some pictures of this remarkable set.
The leather is soft as on the first day.

Has anyone seen shoes by "Trommler" before?

    Thanks!

They are fantastic I had a original pair of rzm marked black ones still in the box with original tissue paper in them. They were so tiny! Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks!
So yours were exactly the same but with RZM stamps?
      Was there a paper tag?
Interesting to learn they were also out RZM stamped!

Super set of period childrens shoes but im not sure you can say HJ, fair enough a parent could have bought these for there child who would wear them with the HJ/DJ uniform, but in IMHO not strictly HJ. Pete.

p.s. Mind you if i still collected HJ items these would look perfect in my or anyone collection as an example of period shoes for kids.

I agree they are not strictly HJ. That is why it is interesting to hear they are also out with RZM markings.
You don´t have any pictures of the boots you had, helmuthunter?

                HJ DJ boots

Sorry too say this is the only poor pic of them about 13 years ago... they had rzm stamps on the soul of the boot and inside on the leather. They were also marked fur HJ DJ on the box.

With the resources available at the click of a "mouse" these days I find it staggering that a dealer would:

                    a. call these "HJ" shoes based on the picture on the box

                    b. not know that there was RZM footwear for the Hitler Youth.

                    Just ask...

Named after Hitler, who saw himself as the Trommler of the Movement before the failed Putsch. The quality and condition of these shoes after so long is amazing. As said above, perfect as part of a period display even if not HJ
