Iwas about in a flea market today and seen this book and picked it up , Iam not at all into period books but this one sort of caught my eye.

I noticed inside some great pics of upper leaders and noticed below The Koln Polizei President a sticker had been added with a sig in the old schrift, can anyone make out the signature, it does not look like Hoevel to me.

No idea who the signature belongs to, but it looks strangely familiar. If you decide to sell the book, I would be interested as this one is missing from my political period library.

It might possibly be his sig Richard,the more I look at it. Also it is stamped inside to an engineer in Koln and was found here in Koln, The Polizei President quite possibly added the sig in for the owner. It is either an H or a J. Ill zap it to my Mother, she reads the old schrift.

I don't think the person's signature was obtained with book in hand. The fact it is on a piece of paper which is then affixed to the page under the picture makes me think the signature was cut from some other document and then glued into the book. More than likely it is the guy's signature but just gotten from somewhere else and added to his picture in the book. Are there any other signatures under any other photos which are attached the same way?

None other, just Hoevel.I do not know why it was added. Kind of neat though.
