    original

I think its originally applied hardware. Perhaps not the cleanest but IMO original.
    cheers

        Nice 33

IMO you have a great badge, as many of the unmarked we see its always refreshing to see another MM make an appearance. Thanks for posting Tim

          Badge

Usually this particular badge has just the pin soldered directly to the back or maybe in a thin groove. There were different mfgr's that made these, so it's just likely a variation, though I've never seen a "plaque" holding the pin on. A nice badge, but on a uniform, it's quite heavy. A tinnie would have been better.

Unlike the 29 badge it wasn't worn for too long after the rally.

              Badge

With all due respect, that is a myth. I wear mine to work every day .

                Update

I found a short list of known manufacturers of this badge, and "Baumberger - Nurnburg" is on that list. Other mfgrs. include "Fechler", "Hoffstatter", "Deschler & Sohn", etc.
                Congratulations!!

Original badge, original pin, but I too think this may have been re-attached at some point after the date of manufacture. The weight of these often resulted in the pin attachment parting from the badge.

                    Badge

And they DID make a tinnie version !! Wish I had one.

I personally feel that the Balmberger 1933 RPT badge is the nicest made and most sought after. Very high quality and feels solid when held.

                              picture size

My friends! I would be happy to post larger photos, if it wasn't so difficult for me to post the one I did. I am obviously photo illiterate. would someone be willing to send me "posting photos using a URL for dummies guide" that would be great. I was just attempting to share the backs of my 33's, I love the 29's and 33's. I'm rambling sorry!!! Tim
