    SA Leadership School Tyr Rune Collar Tab

    Any thoughts on this tab? I personally think its okay but would appreciate the input
    Looks to me vet glued it on a photo album. These are the only two pictures I have at the moment..

    RFS tab

    Stacks of these showed up at the Hermann Historica auction in 1992. For about 10 bucks I bought a bundle of 8-10 tabs with the same yellow ochre paint on the back. The carmine cloth is very coarse while the embroidered Tyr Rune appears to be period. The ones I bought had a cardboard template under the red/black/white embroidery. They all appear to be post-war put-togethers and were in the same lot of the single-oakleaf, Reichs-level political leaders tabs that appeared at about the same time; the much cussed and discussed "bump" tabs. So-called because of the little bump under the eagles' wings.

      IMO, the glue you see isn't from a scrapbook. It looks more like they used glue, and it seeped through the material. You can see white glue along the edges as well. They never used white glue on collar tabs.
