            It's M1/17 what is also "Assmann".

            Saw this on PL wreath too, "M1" for metal insignia and "17" for :Assmann on the oakleaf wreath and "M5/8" on the paper tag. I had some of them some times ago.

            I found them by a former RZM retailer of Muhlhausen (Mulhouse/ Alsace / france) in the 80 ths, with a lot of unissued RZM paper tagged "M4/22" PL belt buckle, unissued SA and PL service shirts, etc...

                Beautiful! I was sure it was okay but couldn't see how the markings could be M5/8, so that makes perfect sense. Very nice find! I've never seen one of these wreaths that wasn't mounted on a cap. If you find any more....
