Factory worker in the NSKK, now I know. Does it list his rank, was he an E.M or Officer? Thanks for your help. Ralph

He joined in 1933 the Motor SA and was then promoted several times from 1934 to 1938, when the Motor SA was merged with the NSKK. His last rank was "Oberscharführer" in the NSKK as of January 30, 1938

                    Hi Ralph,

Here's some more information about this guy and his certificate book.

His name was "Julius Schwämmlein". He was born on March 8, 1906, was (as already mentioned) a "factory worker" and lived in "Rothenhof" near Coburg. Here's a link to google maps showing the little village Rothenhof: https://maps.google.de/maps?client=s...ed=0CCsQ8gEwAA

He belonged therefore to the NSKK Motorstandarte 95 of Coburg.

On December 19, 1936 he received the bronze sports badge #1006101. He achieved 588 points. The certificate in the book was signed on July 1, 1938 by the Oberführer of the NSKK (name not legible for me, sorry).

He joined the Motor SA on November 1, 1933 and the NSDAP on may 1, 1933 (member #2535556). He received then the following promotions in the NSKK:

                    - to Sturmmann on December 14, 1934
                    - to Rottenführer on September 8, 1935
                    - to Scharführer on January 30, 1937
                    - to Oberscharführer on January 30, 1938

                    Well, I think that's it
