as far as known the gorget is bogus/fantasy.
The marking WT is for Willy Thuy. Much material was stamped like that when it was about fake!

I have seen one of these before and it was thought to be a post war put together piece, or a downright fake.

Yeah Brian but it could be a repro … it needs to have an in-depth forensic evaluation to be certain that it's not a cheap chinese knock off. They sell them in many variations at Walmart.
