rare badge "Jungsturm Adolf Hitler 1921-1923"

    Hi,

a friend of mine dug this badge many years ago (and cleaned it ).

Before he sells it, I told him to ask expected collectors for their meanings. So I will show some pics here.

    Thanks for comments!

I have never been a fan of the Jungsturm pin (to distinguish between the 9. Nov badge).

For a ground dug piece, I do not like the condition of the needle pin in comparision to the (supposedly) 90% silver disc. Münze Berlin as a maker strikes me as odd, too.

I have no horse in this race, just wanted to hear some opinions and maybe see reference pieces. I did not find one to compare.

It would be interesting to find out what the metal composition of this badge is.
Knockoffs of the pin have been produced. One of the examples here: http://westwall.ru/cat?mode=descr&ca...atSes=clxlpvpq
For those not able to read Russian- it is being sold as copy on the website. Another variation (rayed vs smooth background) exists.
Did any of these so called "1st models" ever surfaced with provenance?
                cheers
                Matt

I just wanted to add that I know this maker and the exact maker mark from a east german badge from the 50s..
