Is this HORST WESSEL PLAQUE original or a modern repro?

the reverse looks strange to me can anyone confirm this is genuine?

I agree, the plaque looks like modern technology was used to mold it. Also, the features look too soft. Personally I would not want it in my collection.

The plaque (and the 2 others with it) is not a high quality art piece, but I can't see anything else wrong with it. I've never seen a reverse/hanging set up like these before (it appears to be hollow). IMO it's okay based on the available photos.

NB--ErichS's post appeared while I was working on mine--I wouldn't want it in my collection either, but I've seen artworks of varying quality that were from the period.

Seems very reasonable at that price. I see nothing wrong with it.
