    clearly an original motor hj mutze with postwar applied reproduction insignia!

      I agree, a Motor H.J. cap for sure and it appears good to me. I don't know about the insignia however, not my area of study.

        no original pre 1945 badge would patina up this way, on the insignia shown, the blinding white enamel is shocking, the swastika needs a diet for sure !and there is more+!

        these motor caps are often found/seen for sale unfinished with no lining or insignia on them, all someone has done here is added a repro diamond!

        dasreich sold one with no lining or insignia, tarn militaria have one with the later cloth insignia and it has no lining ither, weitze had no liner example also!

        its a fake hj membership pin imo not even a cap badge, i know they did this in the period also before someone reminds me, as with the HJ they never much followed regulations
