    Saar Dank 1935 Ring

    Hello

I have this Saar Dank Ring here..its the silvered version with engraved signature of Reichskommissar Bürckel.

I found very little on the Internet about this Ring. I read it came with a document and is probably rarer than the SS Ehrenring, because it wasnt awarded in such quantity as the SS honour ring.

can you ring experts give me a roughly value of this ring?

    Thanks
    Andreas

The Saardank ring is a rather rare offical ring. Came with award doc and special box. Always Alpacca, silver or Gold plated. Was given from the Reichskommissar to people that had merits to bring back the Saarland in 1935.

The second one is a standart patriotic ring of the wwI period.

As you told us the signature on the ring is from the "Reichskommissar für die Rückgliederung des Saarlandes" Josef Bürckel

              Correct,

the Saardank Ring is rare, but not very popular among ring collectors.

The second is a standard WW1 patriotic silver ring.
