    Nsfk powered aircraft pilots badge

    For you NSFK experts, what are your thoughts about this badge? I think the badge is okay, but am having concerned about the pot holes on the obverse. As you can see, there is wear to the high spots.

    What are your opinions: good or copy??

    Sorry, but the pin and catch, as well as the overall quality and strike, are nowhere near those of an original of one of these....

    Do a search here and you'll find examples of originals....there is only ONE type that's original for this badge!

    Definately a repro. IMO.

        Hi John,

        Thank you very much for answering my inquiry. I have never seen this badge in hand. What I could find was a couple of pictures. . .in Niemann's 2nd price guide, and a fake on this site. I reworded the search and found only one real artefact. There are a total of 3 posts regarding this badge. Frankly I did not have a clue what to expect.

        Your comments are very much appreciated by me, John. I will add this to my junk box. . .it is growing very slowly but surely.

        After all we can't know everything, can we.
