I like it. The center disc probably separated from the backing piece at some point in time and was glued/soldered back but IMO completely original piece.

Hi Stefan,

I also agree that this appears to be a genuine piece. The planchet on which the cloisonne enamel was set up was cold soldered to each backing section, and occasionally this planchet slid slightly during the mounting process. I think such unique expressions of human error add character to a GPB! This occasional sliding was a reality with both the Deschler and the Fuess-marked pieces.
