Do not have one of these, but believe it to be genuine.
From what i am seeing this is fake. Show the catch and full inside please.i would like to know if it is pretending to be a second or first pattern case.

Agree with both Jon and Peter not a good one. Compare it to the one pictured on page 3 on the Putsch Feldherrnhalle display thread and you'll see many differences.
These were sold as reproductions by a uk based case maker whose name escapes me at the moment. The color of the leatherette is wrong, gold lettering/numbers and spacing is different than the originals, interior is close but not the same. For display they're okay and were inexpensive.

I agree--type 1 cases are all exactly the same. They were likely all made at the same time and housed the medals of the 1st type when the order was delivered.

Please excuse my ignorance here, friends, but was there a 2nd Pattern BO Case that differed from the 1st Pattern Case? Also, was each medal of both patterns originally presented in a case, or did some come to the recipients in other ways?
Yes, the second style case is more square and has a fitted area for the medal and the ribbon. I would say they were (most likely) always presented with a case.
