I'm trying to identify this inkwell. Heavy brass ten inches by 5 inches.
The eagle wingspan is 1 3/4 inches. Is it genuine? Any comments would be appreciated.

Looks like an inkwell from the 1890s-1910s to which someone added an eagle. Definitely a fantasy assembled piece.
