    SA Expert Horsemans Badge

    Hi all,

This has appeared for sale & I know nothing about this badge. From what I can find on the internet, these appear to be makers marked & numbered.

Can I have thoughts on this please?

    Thnks, Tony

This one is not an original. The originals have a flat back with maker's mark and award number.

            Hi,

it´s made in good quality but by Rudolf Souval from Vienna after the war.

            Best Regards

Thanks Max, that's very interesting! Would this have much of a value at all?

Not really much value as it is fake. I have a friend who collects Souval badges, repro badges. I'd give you $20 for it. Not sure its worth more than that?

I would think you could get closer to $100.00 on the US market.

                    Typical post war Souval catch.

                    Regards, Wim

Yeah, I noticed that catch & that was my first warning sign.
The seller want NZ$85 (US$67), but I don't collect reproductions, so don't see any point in buying it.
Thanks for all the help, Tony
