    Is this NSKK Gorget original ?

    Hello forum..

    I bought this a while back and am finally posting it.

    is it original? It has some sort of stain/damage from something placed on top of it during storage.

    missing the chain too.

                  Very nice Robert!! Chain might be hard to fine though. I wonder why we see so many Traffic service gorgets, but I've never seen a flag bearers gorget posted. And I agree that RonR has a great collection!!

                      These were worn by Traffic Educators, not flag carriers, hence the individual numbers.

                        I notice there is a different style of number font on the one posted by
                        Ron Weinand. When did this change is the one shown by Ron W an early
                        example

                          The one that Ron W shows has stamped numerals while the other examples have applied numbers.

                            There is also a difference in chains as a few have a round, ballpeened connecting link.
