Pickedthis up a while ago, the back is dated 4/5/42 and then maybe a price? Cant make it out would like to here what you guys think about it, just to be sure. Thanks for any help i can get

i like it too. In this same style (silver looking plaque mounted on an oval shaped piece of wood) were made more plaques, e.g of Schlageter and von Hindenburg. There may be others and maybe it was even a series.
