    DAF Button

Hey this is my first post on this forum.
I have a whermacht greatcoat, and there is a DAF button on the inside.
So I wanted to know what kind of DAF button this is, and why it is present in this greatcoat ?
On the backside "RZM 14" is printed.
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I have chosen for political organizations because DAF is a part of it.
I've inserted a picture of the button.

If someone can help me, I really appreciate it.

Don't think I've ever seen such a button before... Has anyone else here? Why would it be found on the inside of a Wehrmacht greatcoat -- assumedly a Heer garment?

            Thanks Bruno.

It's interesting that this button is present on this greatcoat.
From the little I could found about this button is that it's an original DAF button, but that's all I know.
Maybe this button is sewn on it by the original owner because he needed one.
            There are plenty possibilities.
But when someone else knows an other reason, I gladly hear it.

Indeed a DAF button as also used on the "Festanzug" jacket.

I guess the wearer of the coat had one spare and needed one, simply took a DAF button. Nothing else.

Now I finally know for what this button was used.

                    Hey RonR,

Thanks, it was very difficult to find a pciture.
The only picture I found was from e-bay.
