Here is a link to a fantastic RZM probe example of this armband that was sold by Virtual Grenadier. It was on his site for some time, I almost pulled the trigger on it myself a couple of times even though it is somewhat out of the arena of my collecting focus.

I notice the Hakenkreuzen in the 2 examples Ron posted are different. The second one is a Studentenbund, right? What is the 1st one (with pins) ordinary HJ?

Actually it is the same armband....Studentenbund....just shot at different angles.

IMO part of the reason these are often misidentified as NPEA has to do with the film NAPOLA in which the actors wear this pattern armband on screen. NPEA used the standard H.J. Armband.
