    Expert opinion on SA gorget

    Hi All,

I posted my NSKOV all ready, now I need your views on this SA gorget. It is marked with RZM on the back in two places. Felt isn't in very good shape but the rest of the gorget is. Is it original?

    Thanks for our thoughts.

I like it too, Chris, though one doesn't usually see both the RZM button glued to the felt and the RZM logo engraved to the clip on the same piece. As I understand it, the RZM button was the earliest attachment but it was soon lost from the felt backing, so the button was succeeded by engraving the RZM logo and license code onto the clip. A sparkling piece, nonetheless!

Thanks for the lookover Gian and Br. James. I really appreciate it. Maybe this one was made right at the switch over time from buttons to clips.
