Generalgouvernement Uniforms

Most of these get confused with either the RMBO, or regular party uniforms.

The Generalgouvernement was responsible for administering occupied Poland, and had their own uniforms.

They wore NSDAP style visors, but with diplomatic-type insignia, and (usually) a political cockade.

No collar tabs, but they would wear the NSDAP brassard, and (presumably) gold-piping around the collar:

At first, I thought this man to be an Ordensburgen cadet. However, note the chocolate-brown velvet cap band, and the dark chincords:

His buttons also give him away--they are GG, which are basically the same as Diplo, but with a gilt finish:

I must acknowledge it is a very interesting thread, thanks for posting!!!
If I have well understood, GG uniform have gold buttons and diplo/RMBO buttons are silver-coloured?
I believed the gold one were worn by officials (high rank) in RMBO?




Moreover, I would like to know from when this type of buttons for diplomats have been replaced by the national eagle above the globe?

Post 2: very logical that the shown uniform looks as Ordensburg!
In a letter from October 1941 the Reichsminister for the occupied eastern countries (Rk 14915 B) arranged the uniform for males at offices in the occupied countries. For the time being the officials, employees etc. were to be supplied with the uniform as worn by the Ordensjunker. Plans for a final uniform were in preparation. Hitler insisted he first should see what uniform and insignia were intended to be sanctioned, before he finally would agree.
