I just searched Google for "A.K. Hüttl" and found lots of images for his instruments. The engraving on yours does not match the quality of the others.
Here is one hit that has several comparisons of Hüttle instruments.
Don't know what to make of that; howerver, it seems (to ME) that the engraving on your bugle was not done by a professional engraver.
=====
Anton Konrad Huttl started his company in 1877. The company advertised in 1913 that they had the largest most modern factory in Austria-Hungary and Germany.
In 1945, the company was Nationalized, and they relocated in South Wales. Huttl, had a factory one in Canada that closed down in the 1970s.
The reference to Buenos Aires is an advertisement that they were a part of the exhibition held in 1910. It also is an indication that the horn is no older than that. The fact that it says Czechoslovakia is an indication that it was made after 1919. The fact that it says Made in Czechoslovakia is an indication that it was probably made after 1923 as that is when instruments imported into the US were required to contain that information. A serial number would do no good as there are no serial number lists for Huttl.
I just came across a very similar bugle. Is that eagle an early H.J. eagle ? Im just curious as Im researching mine. I have seen this style eagle on a flag somewhere ? I just wasn't sure where ?
