    Large Unknown Cloth Eagle

    Unsure where to post this as i have no idea what it is? White on light Green background. Large, 6" across. Any one know what it is?

      I couldn't tell you what its use was, but I suspect it is Forestry related...

        It is a customs eagle from a car-flag. On both sides the eagle has to look to the pole. One side the eagle looks to its right wing; here to its left wing!

        The eagle is anyway typical for customs. In the "Military Advisor", volume 8, number 4 from fall 1997 an article about these car-flags was published.

        An official drawing showed such eagle with a wingspan of about 13.9 cm. When it has this size then it is for a triangular pennant (pattern 4). For square or oblong flags the eagle was about 18.0 cm.
