Unknown small broach

Hello. I got this today. It was a war bring back item. I guess its some private purchase piece as I have not seen similar. It is nicely made. Can anyone recognise it?

Its about 3cm long....

Possibly an American or British piece of good-luck jewelry, pre-dating the Third Reich.

From first glance typical Art Déco style of the 20ties which also continued into the 30ties - not typical germanic outward appearance, though.

Nonetheless certainly still nice to see - thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing this with us; it's an attractive piece. Are then any marks on the reverse -- maker's mark or silver/gold content indication? If this is a TR piece of jewelry, it was undoubtedly privately made -- probably the same is true even if it was not made in Germany.

Thanks for the replies. I did not think it would be a typical political item. It came from Hamburg in 1945. The Art Deco idea figures looking at the design. It is nicely made but no markings are present.

Couple more pics. I don't think it is a precious metal but it is mother of pearl under the swastika.

My camera on the phone struggles to cope with it
