Opinions on Silver Mothers Cross & SA Sports Badge (Redo)

I know the ribbon for the Silver Mothers Cross is reproduction and I think the cross itself is as well (for one the signature on reverse is different from what I normally see). I think the SA is good but the maker mark is obliterated, looks like a Redo it was filed down a bit but there is no other damage to the medal. For some reason this is throwing me off a bit, are they making copies of the Redo badge? Thanks in advance,

Any thoughts on the SA badge? Pin/catch seem correct but has this one been damaged?

Thanks for the help, provenance was good and I was sure the badge was but nowadays I guess it pays to drink lots of coffee and be paranoid.
