NSDAP Armband - Roundel Question

The majority of these armbands that I have seen have the ribbing on the white roundel running vertically.

This armband has the ribbing running horizontally.

Armband is the wool type.

What gives? Just a different maker or a mistake when it was made?

They can go that way. I remember looking very closely at the Armband on one of Hitler's uniforms and the lines are not vertical. That about convinced me that the old myth of all armbands must have vertical lines was just a myth and not fact. Yours looks to be a fine original.
