Strange,
I bought this from a 52 year old man. He had a hughe collection of items, including HJ shirts etc.
Hes parents(83 and 82) where members of the HJ and BDM.
HJ was active in the region of Malmedy.
Item is in poor condition. Don't know about the "stains".
Maybe ill do some research, any help is more then welcome ofcourse.
True, The Malmadey area of Belguim was considered annexed German territory and did have related SA, A-SS, HJ, NSRL, etc. connections.....
Reguardless of the sorce, everything about this armband is NON-typical for German WW2, even latewar printed stuff.....is it possible.....maybe.....that's where the "photographic evidence".......
However, if it is real.....it's probably BDM with that form of Diamond insignia!

The band is from a man hes father knew. The reason this band is different is becauze he was a member of the luftshutz or feuer loschpolizei. There might be simular versions for Eupen, butgenbach, elsenborn, etc...

Pretty fague don't you think?
The HJ had it's own insignia for HJ Feuerwehr; a distinct "Raute" and it's own "Gebiets Dreieck" , so no need at all for an armband like this.
Fantasy i.m.o.
I think that the 52 year old man with a hughe collection of items, including HJ shirts knows what he gets rid off...
