        Repro

You should do a search on SA Gorgets. Should have a "Sunwheel" Swastika, more feathering in Eagles Wings, etc. Sorry but it doesn't resemble one.

It's a fake. To make this easier, here is an original to compare from my collection. Note the many differences.

The 'DRGM' marked SA gorgets seemed to have appeared on the market in the mid to late 80s and are thought to have originated in England. Originally they came without chains. A few years later they were seen with neck chains that were too heavy and the wrong pattern, looking more like dog collar chain.

                Dear Philippe

I think that you are already aware of this fact.

In relation to the SA gorget that you have shown, the persons who assembled it chose to use a pure fantasy design, SA buckle roundel.

This quite specific horizontal wing design is a post 1945 fantasy. There are to be found original SA buckles which have a horizontal wing eagle, however they are quite different from yours.

                Good luck in your search.

                Regards,

                David
