    But does anyone agree that my eagle and the one that started this thread, is from a crash helmet. Given the long pins and washer. I believe the long pins are needed to attach it to the bulky crash helmet.

        No, your eagle is NOT from a crash helmet. Not official anyway and not according to any NSKK-regulation!
