rare enamel identification please?

Hello all,

Can anyone better and more correctly identify this one for me? Just a friendship badge between Cologne and Aachen regions? Marked for Hoffstätter of Bonn on the reverse.

These are from the KDF - Kraft Durch Freude

I agree. This appears to be either a badge worn by someone who participated in a 'Strength through Joy' program sponsored by the DAF and held in Gau Köln-Aachen or by someone who contributed/supported such an event. Nice piece.

I know you spend a lot of time on GDC. Check out this 17 page thread on the Medals and Badges forum. Tons of information and wonderful photography of many different types of KDF insignia and equipment. This includes yours on pg. 2 where it is stated that it is a membership pin for the Cologne/Aachen district rather than a tinnie.
