    If the white thread doesn't react under UV light and provided it's made of cotton or cotton/rayon, it stands a good chance of being original.

        Hi Looks good to me too, and has the color of suedwest Gruppe. I have a collar cord like this in my museum display.

          Piping

          It looks ok to me, too. NOTE: These days, you've got to be careful, as people are getting really good at making fake bi-color piping. Besides examining the piping itself, it's very important to view it in total. Things that are old have a distinct appearance. If the piping was on there over 60 years, it should look like it, not all perfect and smooth like it was just sewn. A good example is collar tabs on a brownshirt, just lying on top of the collar, like someone glued them on. Tabs that have been on a brownshirt a long time usually look like it. A tunic is somewhat different, as the material is so thick. From photos alone, it looks ok!!!
