    Hi Jimmy,

These tabs look like originals to me...though tabs and their construction are not a major field of study for me. I'll be interested in seeing what others, more experienced in this area of uniform collecting, have to add.

The pictures are not the greatest but based on what I see, I would pass on them. This Abschnittsleiter rank is the most commonly faked of all the Political Leader's tabs, at every level (Reich, Gau, Kreis, Orts).
These eagles don't appear to have the pronounced humps under the wings, maybe the angle of the picture is hiding them. But I assume the modern day makers are getting this issue addressed. There is still the "chicken neck" under the one eagle, which I never see on original eagles.
The biggest red flag for me is the lack of pebbling within the wreath and around the swastikas. Originals all have pebbling, these do not.

          Hi again, Jimmy,

You've heard from THE MAN when it comes to this area of our hobby! I gladly bow to Jeff's expertise and hope that you haven't spent money for this pair that you can't get back.

          Best regards,

            Jeff

Here are some (I hope) better pictures showing the pebbling. Im not sure what
"pronounced humps under the wings" looks like but I hope these pictures give you all the info you need.

              still no
chicken neck eagle very pronounced to the one and beak of bird too big on the other
pebbling not flowing between swastika arms and the gob of it at bottom of the wreath
they are trying to get these right....
              close, but no bananas
