Bronze NSDAP 1929 Honor Badge ?

Hi all,
i got this NSDAP 1929 Honor Badge with Bronze finish. I only saw them with Silver finish till yet. Was it made in different grades ?

Hi Alex,

IMO this appears to be an actual event badge from the 1929 RPT. I know that versions of this badge are found in both bronze and silver colors, but I am not aware of the reason behind this difference. Perhaps it indicates the difference between the badge produced for the event itself, in bronze, and the badge produced post-1933 after the 1929 Party Congress Badge was accorded the status of an Honor Badge, in silver...? Again, I'm not sure about this.

Yes, a nice early badge that was sold at the rally. There were different grades but like James said, no one knows the reason.

But it´s still the Honor Badge as these tinnies were specified as NSDAP Honor Badges later, am i right ?

The 29RPT badge is an honor award of the party like the Blood Order, Coburg Badge and GPB.
