Is this a legit piece? it is a 2nd Patern NSDAP Membership Book. The Rubber Stamp and location it was issued both appear to say Konz. Lager Dachau. Would Party Books be issued out in Concentration Camps? Thanks.

Ortsgruppen were organized with SS personnel in concentration camps. Whether one was established as early as 1935 in Dachau KL, I cannot say. Can we see the rest of the membership book? -

Yes, an unusual piece. While I can understand why someone would white-out the name and NSDAP number, it is too bad to see this. The number would have been a nice low one, though not low enough to be a GPB Trager. Very nice.

The Name and Number have been blotted out for privacy reasons in my photos at the moment. They are still present in the book.Comment

That's good to know. I've occasionally seen books and other documents where the owner has obliterated his name and number for security reasons, and that has got to have a negative effect on the book's value. Glad that isn't the case here.
