Good afternoon guys,
I need your help to identify this button. I was told it was for the DAF, but it is not certain and I would like to have your opinion please.
It is the first time I see a button like this, and in particular the construction of the backside.
It is in aluminium and there are no backmarks.
Nevertheless the RZM mark appeared from october 1934, so it can be an early fabrication...
On the front we can see oak leaves with some acorns and like wehrmacht buttons, we can see the pebbling. Oak leaves are very common on WWII german buttons, it's synonymous with strength and endurance...
So is it a WWII-era button or a post war button?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Best regards
Christophorus
