    HJ related jacket?

Is this uniform war time? Perhaps HJ related? Political? Fatigue wear?
    Note belt support system.

This might be early 1960s DDR, they had a similar jacket but the pocket flaps were a little different. I have never seen color photos and do not know the color. It could be something else but it is similar to the East German jacket with no lower pockets.

Late 1950s/early 60s East German Army Drillich jacket. These are somewhat khaki colour. They would have both shoulderboards and collartabs on it, that obviously removed.

            Regards

OK no wonder it appeared in the bazaar section... but you just never know.
In the past I've purchased good material (even a legit WW2 German uniform) in the bazaar section. Thanks

I forgot to remark, the buttons were also replaced with WW2 or West German ones. The correct East Germans ones have flat rim and pebbled only in centre.
