VERY rare cuff title

I posted this in the cuff titles forum but not much response so thought I would show it here for posterity. This is IMO one of the rarest period cuffs there is- NSDAP Stellungsbau for those building reichs defences in the closing months of the war, i have only seen 2 others of these posted some time back with exact same construction. Interesting hand embroidery I think..

Well i like it, any info on this cuff title and was a uniform worn used for this? Sean

Thanks Sean, really no idea on the regs of wear for this, I think it falls into that very late war melting pot where very little is known. I would guess Volkssturm, OT or perhaps some political tunics. I don't know of any photo of it in wear.

Very interesting thread indeed. The New Zealanders certainly encountered this unit in the north of Italy in 1945. Here are some of the items taken from them and brought back. When I get a chance, I will go through my papers and tell you exactly where the NZEF were up against them.

The M43 cap is Italian made ( Italian made cuff-titles ? ) and came back with the cuff titles. This would appear to be type of uniform that they were wearing,

Just saw the photo you added- and wow! 3 examples- where did you find them? all NZ vets. IMO all the cuffs are the same and originally red as in the bottom cuff in your picture but made with poor quality die which bleached out easily in sunlight like you can see on my example.

NSDAP Stellungsbau CT

Hi Guys,
Here are images of the NSDAP Stellungsbau CT being worn, I also have one of these strange cuff titles, IMO more scarce than any ss CT,
these images were sent to me by another forum member, who acquired the photo from a German flea market a few years ago, not exactly High Definition but if you look closely you can just make them out,
