All the insigna and the shirt is orginal!
The shirt is a orginal RZM textbook shirt that has been modified to a ( Can't tell the year ) summer style shirt it looks really great!! I think they cut the part where the RZM label should be.

Not DJ straps on the shirt, those are Flieger HJ straps. DJ wore only a single black strap, with the exception of leaders who wore this style strap piped and numbered in grey. I have seen jackets with a Sigrune that was covered by an armband before, and the shoulder straps and triangle match, as well as the Edelwiess, it's possible the shirt was worn by a DJ member that entered the HJ upon reaching the age and just covered the Sigrune with an armband. I do like the uniform, even though the insignia combination is not entirely correct.

          Hi,

Really appreciate the information folks, when I saw the jacket I had to have, just glad to know it's all good.

Now just need to go out and buy a lot more HJ/DJ items.

I think i'll leave the straps on there as there are faint traces of an armband, i'll see if I can get a photo to show this tonight.

          Thanks

          JC

If the shirt were mine I would leave the insignia as is and add an HJ armband over the Sigrune, and would not change or remove any of the insignia.
