    NSKK table medal

    I've had this table medal for some time. It measures 52mm dia 2-4mm thick, guilded tomback. What exactly was it given out for? Can someone translate the writing for me?
    Thanks
    Tony

    It's a medal of the motor brigade from Lower Saxony. It was obviously given to participants of a ride through the moorlands of Lower Saxony on August 11, 1935.

    Niedersachsen = Lower Saxony
    Heide = heath / moorland
    Fahrt = ride, drive

      Here's a link, where you can see the moorlands of the Lunenburg Heath. It's a famous region south of Hamburg.
