    Hitler table medal

    Hello all,

I've never seen one of these before. Can somebody fill me in on this one?

William, you post a lot of items asking if they're good or not. Are you a moderator in the badge section on another forum? Just curious....

Yes, I am. Never hurts to ask for the opinions of another forum. In a land of sorry's, better play it safe and get a confirmation. Not looking for a confirmation of authenticity on this one, just for somebody to shed some light on what it is exactly.

Still looking to find information behind this one, and what it was given for. Was this handed out on a tier system based on the donation amount to the cause or something like that?

Thanks for all of your help on this.

Sorry William, but I've never seen this medallion before either. Can't add anything further than what it says on the reverse.

Fairly common WHW medallion. (At least I think so)

Perhaps we could hear a word from Chrys and Joseph, our in-house WHW specialists?

                Hey Pete,

Not super common...it was sold in Gau 08 Halle-Merseburg in March/April of 1934. These were given to people who made large donations. There was gold, silver and bronze. The larger the donation the 'higher' the color.
