Fake or original Armband?

Hi Guys,

I need your help with the next armband, I am not a specialist on this items. Original or fake? In my opinion the stamps on it are fake but I really don’t know.

I would consider this a fake.

The construction of the armband looks unusual, almost like the swastika has been dropped into a shape cut into the white felt circle, rather than sewn onto it. The little eagle ink stamps look like the waffenamt (weapons inspectorate) stamps that you can find on German firearms from the period. I've never seen one on a cloth item before.

Maybe you could post the armband in the Political section, and see what the guys there think.

IMO fake--the felt swastika/felt disc is not a typical method of construction, and would not have held up to daily use.

Hahaha...too funny. The upside is that some of the fakes can still be easily recognized as such
