Large Eagle

I have the chance to buy this large eagle 22 x 18 cm from an estate. Does anyone know what it is and if it's original?

Political eagle desk/mantel/wall decoration, but it's hard to say from these photos if original or not. Was it dug up? Rusted or poorly cast? Are the supports (for an easel leg) on the reverse cast into the piece or separately attached?

Erich, these poor pictures are the only ones provided. Seller has stopped responding to my requests so I guess he's either not interested in showing the details or he might think I'm a pain for asking questions
