              The two easiest giveaways as a fake are the uniform thickness of the lettering on the front and the tall (instead of proper round) "C" in "MUNCHEN" on the pin plate.

              Here's real lettering:



              Yours is the newer version of the fake with better leaves. 1st generation had lines over some of the leaves. I have a page on these on my website here:

                Hello there,

                An Austrian fake. Look at the enameling background it is a -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- pattern not a ........... pattern as it should be.
