Wool HJ armband

Hi guys today posted in insignia this HJ bnd was posted.Now i have 3 normal cotton ones but not one of wool .I have a problem with the tag it says SS on it.
Is this normal ,your views please regards Pete

I seriously doubt the period existance of a wool HJ armband. The cotton version is all I have ever seen, even on tunics for high ranking officials.
