Got this lot today.
Could the eagle be from a SA kepi?

Hi AJ,

From what I can see, all the pieces look good to me. The eagle is an M-1939 pattern Political Eagle which was used on both SA kepis and PL visors -- though I must add that, from your photo, the eagle is marked RZM M/1-50 (the code for Richard Sieper & Söhne, Lüdenscheid), which would be correct. Hope this is helpful.

Your SA eagle is my favorite larger type - It resembles silverplate, instead of being solid aluminum (which are wonderful also). Here's another example - the kepi was without eagle when I purchased it.

IVBAUST - That's one of the nicest kepis I've ever seen. The wool on mine is much closer to yours in color, than the "yellow" it appears to be on the computer.
